Live demo.

You can see a live example of the stack in action below.

Try filtering the items using the filter bar below. In this hypothetical ammunition supplies demo, we use the stack as a way of filtering products. But you can use the stack to filter any blocks of content you like. A block can contain any other stack, so this could be simply paragraphs of text, ir images if you like. Anything goes as content.

This content block could be anything you like.

It does not matter what you choose to add as content to each filterable block in Hunter 3. Each block is simply a drop zone, that belongs to the category you add the block to. Every new category block type you add, will be automatically added to the filter bar that controls the stack.

How do I link to a category from an external url?

You may want to create a link on another page or even another website, that links to the page containing your hunter stack, but want a certain category to be displayed when someone follows that link. This is how we can make that happen:

Create your link as normal to the page containing hunter, for example:

http://www.doobox.co.uk/myhunterpage.html

Now that will link to the page. But to make it open a given category when the user follows that link, we need to add what's called a parameter to the end of the link.

Hunter is always looking out for it's parameter being present in the url when the page loads.
Hunters parameter is simply called "hunt".
So by adding :

?hunt=yourcategoryname

to the end of the url, you are telling Hunter to open in that category.

So now your url would be constructed like this in full :

http://www.doobox.co.uk/myhunterpage.html?hunt=yourcategoryname

Now when the user arrives they see what you want them to see.

Here is an example link that will open this demo with the “Red” T-Shirt category already selected :
https://www.doobox.co.uk/stacks_store/demos/hunter3.html?hunt=ShotgunAmmo

Download the zip file from the link, and unzip it to reveal the stack inside.
You should now see the stack as a logo style icon.

Normal installation.

Double click the un-zipped stack file (the one that looks like a piece of lego).
This will launch Rapidweaver if it was not already running, to automatically install the stack.
Rapidweaver handles the install process from here. Guiding you through a couple of simple clicks to complete the installation.
Re-start Rapidweaver to ensure the installation is complete.
You will now see the new stack in the Stacks plugin library.

Installation where more than one version of Rapidweaver is installed.

Sometimes if there is more than one version of Rapidweaver installed on your system, the double click method launches the wrong version of Rapidweaver to install the stack. To ensure the it is installed into the version you want to install to, you can, instead of double clicking the stack, just drag and drop it onto the appropriate Rapidweaver app icon in your dock at the bottom of your screen.
